Priority Protection & Investigations, Inc. (PPI) was founded by Thomas Norris in 2012. Family owned and operated, PPI specializes in commercial, HOA, retail and Nationwide Security Contract Management.
At PPI, it’s our people who make the difference. Offering decades of quality experience, our security personnel’s backgrounds are primarily law enforcement and or military based.

Thomas always had a long-term goal to found a private security company. To improve his skill-set, he attended police academy in 1994 and worked for six years in a local sheriff’s office. He utilizes many of the community policing techniques he learned while on the force in his private practice today.
Before founding Priority Protection & Investigations, Thomas spent five years as a security guard at a high-profile law firm, where he was eventually promoted to Security Captain. He has worked for the Houston Astros and several Fortune 500 companies as a security consultant. Many of these clients continued with Thomas to become PPI clients after its founding.
Thomas is proud to say that Priority Protection is still 100% family owned and operated.
