Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Valid Texas Security License (pocket card in hand is preferred; certificates from valid training may be accepted) 
• Must possess all required duty gear and weapons applicable to the position 
• Ability to pass a same-day drug screening 
• Reliable transportation and a working cell phone 
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and work ethic 
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English 
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record 
• Valid Social Security card 
• Must be of good moral character 
• Must agree to and comply with all company policies and procedures
   

At Priority Protection & Investigations, we believe training is the foundation of exceptional security services. All security personnel are required to complete the state-mandated training requirements established by the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Program prior to employment.

Our officers receive training in areas including:

• Nature and Role of Private Security Officers 
• Legal Aspects of Private Security 
• Security Officer Conduct 
• Observation and Incident Reporting 
• Principles of Communication 
• Principles of Access Control 
• Principles of Safeguarding Information 
• Emergency Response Procedures 
• Life Safety Awareness
   

 In addition to state-required training, we provide ongoing in-house training opportunities designed to strengthen officer performance, professionalism, and preparedness in the field.
